What the Heck is a Punctilio?

Rules and Principles, or if you prefer Standards and Ethics, are the guides of our actions.  A punctilio is:  A little point of conduct highlighting etiquette, or procedure. We are using this term to illustrate the standards and ethics that have been shared with humanity over the generations.

We have recently learned of the 11:11 laws.  These are 22 spiritual and Universal laws.  As we learned of these laws, it seemed to me that the 11:11 laws have MUCH in common with our developing Punctilios.  In this presentation I combine them into one outline for our consideration. [Brackets and small type] indicate the source of the concept.

I have included key concepts under a larger header font along with a brief explanation and supporting laws and points which devolve from them.

Natural Law, Cosmic Principles, and Punctilios

DIVINITY

The Divine [a word derived from *dyeu meaning "to shine"] is the ONE energy that came before ALL.  The energy that allowed for the formation of matter and all of the other energy frequencies of the universe.  The Divine deserves our awareness and Divine guidance should be recognized and heeded.

The observance and awareness of such divine guidance over the generations of humanity has resulted in the observation of a number of basic Natural Cosmic Principles, e.g. [Conclusion of Natural Law], which are the foundation of many other regulatory concepts, e.g., [11 Universal Laws, 11 Spiritual Laws, and Punctilios].
  • Give Heed to the Divine – The Divine is aware of ALL, and knows more than you. [Conclusion of Natural Law]

    • Love - Love is the highest spiritual force. [11 Universal Laws]
    • Love Divinity, Love Others, Love Self. The first protocol for living is to LOVE – to care, to desire. [Punctilios]
    • Recognize, acknowledge and be in awe of the greater power that created you.  [Punctilios]
    • Intuition - Trust inner guidance. [11 Spiritual Laws]
    • Don't divorce yourself from the Divine. Don’t cut the Divine out of your life. Its positive corollary: Seek fellowship and union with the Divine  [Punctilios]
    • Light, Sound, and Vibration - These are the basis of creation and healing. [11 Universal Laws]
EVOL
VE

The word evolve is "to unfold, open out, expand," from Latin evolvere "to unroll, roll out, roll forth, unfold," especially of books; figuratively "to make clear, disclose; to produce, develop."
  • All things evolve  – "turn, unroll, unfold, are made clear.  [Conclusion of Natural Law]

    • Healing - Use spiritual and emotional healing. [11 Spiritual Laws]

  • Live in Reality. There is one reality, BUT not everyone perceives it as you do.  [Punctilios]

    • Freedom of Man - The right to choose one's path. [11 Spiritual Laws]
    • Free Will - No one controls another's essence; each has the right to choose. [11 Universal Laws]
HEED

The word heed means to "observe; to take care, attend, care for, protect, take charge of."

Life is from ancient words meaning "to stick, or adhere" and references "animated corporal existence."  Thus, "animated corporal existence, which adheres to life, or sticks around, is sacred (made holy by association with the divine.)"
    • Defend your Self – To defend is to shield from attack, or to guard against attack or injury. [Conclusion of Natural Law]

  • Offspring are to be loved, educated and provided for – The very young need defending.  While many of the "lower" animals may learn to walk, run or fly within days or weeks of their animated corporeal existence, humans generally take months to years to attain a similar level.  The very young and the uneducated need education.  The needy person needs provision.  [Conclusion of Natural Law]

    • Never destroy without thoughtful consideration and action by the society. [Punctilios]

    • Never desire to destroy another’s reality. Maliciously seeking to destroy someone’s perception of reality is a harmful destruction; some never really recover from it. [Punctilios]

    • Don’t JUST seek your own pleasure. Pursue the attributes of “non-physical” things like character, spirit, creativity and such, to “exercise” your spirit as well as gratify your mind. [Punctilios]

    • Don’t seek to rob another’s pleasure. Seek to support them in their life explorations...even if it takes them in a direction that you would rather not travel or follow. [Punctilios]

    • Never steal. It is a lack of respect and is demeaning (lowering of the dignity) to others. [Punctilios]

    • Be Merciful. Don’t seek to inflict painful distressing cruelty to others. [Punctilios]
