Who put the precious metals and precious jewels into the earth and in the cosmos?
The One who created all and who knows all, gives wisdom. The One teaches wisdom with both knowledge and understanding.
If you accept the creator's hidden nuggets of value and heed their wisdom it will direct your heart to greater understanding. If you seek understanding and insight as you would seek for precious metals and gems, then you understand the respect of, and discover the knowledge of, the One.
The One establishes right use, integrity, and justice. Those who see, learn and perform right use, who seek integrity and justice will understand every good path. Wisdom will enter their hearts and knowledge will delight them. The One brings success to such because they DO seek the wisdom of the One.
The One will rescue you from the ways of harmfulness - a very definition of the word evil. Those who seek such wisdom will avoid seeking the ways of harmfulness, from ways of those who enjoy doing evil and celebrating harmful (evil) ways. Those who promise one thing and then proceed to do, or live, in a way contrary to their promise are only destroying themselves. Their character, their "soul" is ultimately dragged down.
Follow the way of good (literally meaning beneficial) and avoid the ways that harm your character. For ultimately, the just and upright will live and remain and the harmful will be cut down and the treacherous ripped out in one way or another.
Nature doesn't allow for harmfulness for harmfulness' sake.
Why seek wisdom?
To know and understand the One, and to keep your soul, your character, alive.
